well, i hope that people who do a search for 'Princess Ariel' aren't discouraged to find that this is not Disney's fun-loving little mermaid. i don't know much about this particular princess other than she's a character from Thundarr the Barbarian. this is another example of the comic heroines that i draw up every week for the Third Rail art forum.

this Ariel is a sorceress. i wanted to capture a bit of realism... this is an old hanna-barbara-esque cartoon, you know?

anyway, even if you aren't familiar with her ~ she has great legs!
